Dragon Tides
Have you ever wanted to dive into a first person shooter game where dragons are your primary target?
Ken Atienza created this video game using a game engine called Unreal Engine 4. By connecting nodes, events, functions, and variables through the use of wires, the connections created the astonishing gameplay elements in Dragon Tides. He created the landscape, utilized free asset models for the player character and AI, and allowed Blueprint Visual Scripting to control each gameplay element autonomously; the scripting ranged from random AI spawning to the active reload function of your player gun. This meant that Blueprint Visual Scripting made it easier to build the game and reduced the time to market significantly.
